Happy Evacuation, Boston!

Since 1901, Boston has been celebrating something called 'Evacuation Day' on March 17, marking the day that British soldiers left the city of Boston at the end of the Revolutionary War.

Conveniently, this 'city holiday', all city offices are closed on this day.
