Very clever idea! I thought that you had a really style-conscious husband, that is, until I read your whole post. But wouldn't he catch on to your plan if you got them in your size and not his?
Actually, I was thinking that I'd get his size and load up on the inserts (as I've been known to do with his Fiorentini+Baker boots..) but then there's always the danger of looking like I'm wearing clown shoes.
Because he'd never wear them and I would.
