Scott's in Singapore for a week.
And we aren't.
And we aren't.
No. We just got 10 inches of snow. School's closed. My office is closed.
As far as the eyes can see, everything is covered in cold, frosty, white stuff.

Streets are quiet except for the occasional snow plow and salt truck.
Today will likely be a day of maybe sledding, breaking up arguments, baking cookies, breaking up arguments, and probably some screen time for us. And breaking up arguments.
We'll have to really bundle up. Get ourselves all dressed like huge,
bulky Michelin men when we go outside.

Maybe trudge over to the local Village diner for lunch.
Yeah...lunch. Hard to pass on shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, or
maybe a plate of some boiled meat.

Yeah...Scott's in Singapore.
And we're here in Brookline.

ah man. I wish you were here. I always think of you being here around this time of year.
big warm, sandy, salty hugs coming at you from out here.
My sister and her boyfriend are at his family's beach house in the Philippines for a week. Sounds fabulous, but the daytime temps are supposed to be in the upper 90s and the overnight lows only in the 70s, which is a little (read: way) too tropical for me! Oh,I guess I could deal with it if it meant an exotic vacation.
